It was a true honor to interview @yehudaberg. Yehuda’s depth, wisdom, heart and authenticity are inspiring to me and many others, not to mention the fact that his books literally changed the course of my life when I found them about 15 years ago. 

Here are some points we discussed:

Functional medicine and expanding consciousness in healthcare with Dr. Nas Al-Jafari 
 
It was a pleasure to interview Dr. Nas Al-Jafari, a medical doctor with a holistic yet cutting-edge approach. Nas is a functional medicine practitioner and Medical Director of the DNA Health Center in Dubai.  He is also a wellness and health advocate.

I was especially excited for this episode because over the last few years I was a medical editor and writer – interviewing surgeons, researchers and patients and capturing their stories and expertise. I also come from a family chocked full medical professionals of all kinds so I grew up going in and out of the hospital and around a lot of doctors, nurses, etc. 
 
Personally I resonate with the functional medicine approach. I also believe in a strong connection between mind (subconscious), body, and spirit. That said,  there is great value in many different types and approaches to healthcare, including traditional Western medicine. 
 
After losing my dad  and little brother to illness in 2018, I believe that part of my purpose going forward is to help raise consciousness around inner and outer wellness and healing.
